The Ability Center was founded to serve
customers in Virginia with a mission to provide the highest quality products and services to the senior and mobility challenged
community. We are a sister company with The Mobility Center of Virginia in Richmond. We adapt vehicles for both passengers and
drivers. We perform simple installations like hand controls and scooter lifts to complete high tech driving systems with joy-stick
driving applications. Although accessible vehicles are a large part of what we provide, we also sell, install and service products to
assist our clients in their homes. Providing stair lifts, porch lifts; ceiling lifts, pool lifts, ramps and elevators. When asked, what
makes The Ability Center unique, our answer is clear dedication to our purpose, fulfillment of clients’ needs and
a sincere desire to help improve the lives of those we serve. We have hardworking, trained and devoted Sales Consultants,
Technical Staff and Administrative Staff that work tirelessly for answers to our clients’ mobility desires and needs.
We believe that providing customer service is not a Department but an Attitude! We are a five star QAP (Quality Assurance Program),
and adhere to and exceed all safety and quality standards in our industry. As a company, we believe that providing resources and
information for our clients is one of the most important functions we provide. To stay abreast of what’s happening in our
industry we are members of several organization dedicated to serving our clients. We belong to the Homebuilder’s
Association of VA, VIADA (Virginia Automotive Dealers¹ Association), NIADA (National Independent Automotive Dealers’ Association)
and are Certified Mobility Dealer, Bruno, and VMI Certified Mobility Dealers.
